Kaleb and Jonathan have had Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. Jonathan had it bad in his mouth and throat and could hardly eat. Thankfully Kaleb wasn't that bad. The bad thing about Hand foot and mouth is that they could actually be contagious for 2 weeks after the rash is gone. So by Friday everyone had been feeling great for a day or two but they still couldn't go outside to play with friends and I couldn't take them anywhere fun. We needed a fun project to keep us busy.
These floaty friends did the trick. Jonathan was able to do all the cutting himself. The best part is after they made the craft then they spent a while playing with them in the bathtub. You can tell from the photo that Kaleb is having a hard time staying out of the water.
